the calyx opens revealing the renewed self farewell winter days
2.
Jealousy 00:53
jealousy is a foolish monster with sharp fangs of deceit feeding off tender hearts deluding the minds shredding the victims it eats jealousy is a hungry fiend with void for its belly gorging goodness incessantly thrashing kindness to jelly callous cowardly cheat jealously is a selfish valour spite is its might slander sights of beauty spewing lies forcefully with convenience and treachery on fleet jealousy is a vain envy with infectious discontent exploiting souls aimlessly contaminating serpent gasping with heinous retreat for truth to expose shamelessly and initiate defeat
3.
Survive 00:37
why are we here to only survive? why not build and thrive? lasting and everlasting to beautify the ages to feed our hearts and minds without being profit defined open and enduring sustaining laughter and joy is for everyone so why keep it away falsely co-harvest and keep away what is for everyone why are we only to survive?
4.
Grief 01:35
I feel like I am in constant state of grief I feel like I am always crying underneath Though I know I am worthy of air And far earned the space to reach my full wing Span across a cowering meek Folding into myself from fatigue Why shine in a place of clever cruelty Built on theft and elite liberty When before and during There were are many That dared to continue to be I comfort this inner grief Steadying waves to rush out steadily The body is not built to contain Sun nor ocean, fire nor fury This is sadness and pain Where joy needs to freely be I don’t know all the whys but I am sorry I’m sorry grief as I sit, listen and learn With good ear acute to recall The murmurs and knowings of it all With memories and stance Igniting the reset dance Breathe Queen! And remember who You are Reclaim Your Throne
5.
Scared 00:40
Everyone gets scared when things get real How do you mellow a high speed train when you enjoy the rush Everyone gets scared when things get real Honesty and love require risk There are probabilities Not guarantees Everyone gets scared when things get real You fight against your nature and nurture false security Ignoring potential to grow and know Everyone gets scared when things get real Too deep too quickly Abruptly sabotage journey Everyone is too scared to let things get real
6.
Dream 00:32
As early spring withers to make room for lush summer Will we remember their delightful song Push forward their aromatic directive of more love & beauty Will we remember disappearance of blossoms and infuse their petals into our cortex Will we remember what we intended with full dreams realized Will we remember freedom for everyone everywhere
7.
Sister 00:31
my starlit goddess comes in need of my support and not control in need of my love and not explanation she speaks the language of yearning of tenderness and creation she comforts and howls a soothing howl she is me beautiful early iris in winter slumber awake my vernal sister
